Cold and drizzily tis is
rain and snow
Saturday with no where to go
so just rolling with the flow

2005

"The first step towards the solution of any problem is optimism."
-John Baines-

2004

some days are better than others I guess today was not one of them
the head continued to pound
to many criticism
and no idea how to correct the situation or make it better without giving up and trashing it all

2003

my heart longs
for peace love and a place to belong

2002

Look inside
Think of the pain
Know who has the power
to change it
to remove it
to forgive it

Look inside

2001

Cold and wicked winter, take me from this earth, give me peace inside of my soul, lift my spirits higher and freeze this heated hatred from me

2000

I think today has been good, we talked, the first time in a long time. I made a special effort to cook a good meal. I made sure I sat with him and tried to watch some unimportant television show. I think there is hope for us yet, anyhow I hope so, for I don't want to fail at this.

1999

The Hawk soared overhead
A vision in my mind
I watched as it swooped down
Taking away the lies

Telling me to be patient
The truth will be known
When I began to speak
The hawk shook his head no

I wanted to know why?
And where from
The betrayal so complete
For what purpose?

But he only sat upon his perch
Silent, staring off into the future
As though waiting
Anticipating the predators demise

In my vision
I learned
I Know as do they
The record shall speak for it's self

No words are needed
For the one that spreads the lies
shall swim in their own sorrow
of deception and greed.

Choices

Which one do I chose
The road has many paths
Which direction will be right
Will I look back wondering if I should have chosen the other

If only it was a circle
and I knew I could go back to where from I came
but I know there is no going back
how many forks in the road lie ahead
how many hills will I need to climb

How many others will my path cross
how many will I touch
how many will I scar
so many choices
so many different outcomes
Which way will I go

1997

It is error only, and not truth, that shrinks from inquiry.
- Thomas Paine -
