VISTAS: An awareness of a range of time, events, or subjects. A broad Mental View.

Don't Go To Bed....
I've heard it said don't go to bed
while hanging on to sorrow,
you may not have the chance to laugh
with those you love tomorrow.
You may not mean the words you speak
when anger takes its toll,
you may regret your actions
once you've lost your self control.
When you've lost your temper
and you've said some hurtful things,
think about the heartache
that your actions sometime bring.
You'll never get those moments back,
such precious time to waste,
and all because of things you said
in anger and in haste.
So if you're loving someone
and your pride has settled in,
you may not ever have the chance
to say to them again...
"I love you and I miss you
and although we don't agree,
I'll try to see your point of view,
please do the same for me.

Well the Colts really blew it today, but I guess I thought they would lose, I knew going in that the Steelers were really good, and to tell the truth the game on Sunday was what I expected when they played each other on Monday night a few weeks back.

Well feeling better finally. Didn't do crap all weekend and now it's over, oh well

"Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it."
-William Arthur Ward 1921-1997, Author, Pastor and Teacher-

deep in the night
when silence once again prevails
and we reflect back at the trails
four years now on my own
four years and yet although life is different it is the same
four years of emptiness with only memories to hold me through the night
sadness still deep in my heart
silence my best friend
solitude my punishment or my reward for being me
yes a new trail but maybe the same just changing with the seasons of life

the words are locked inside
trying to run and hide
they roam free there
without thought or care

there are as many different forms of love as there are colors in the spectrum. and for each of us the term of love is as different. We equate Love with things, with actions, with past experience, with wants, with needs, with things, but few look at love as it is. It has become contaminated from what it is for most. It is tainted with the views and the beliefs of others. It has become complicated and manipulative when if we go back to the Good book, it will tell us, love is pure, simple and given without any expectations whatsoever.

My Thought to Ponder today

Well it has been one year since my independence. A really rough year for me in so many ways, a growing year, a year of pain, hurt and mistrust, now I wonder if I shall every live again.

He's gone to visit a sick friend, He brushed his teeth to do so. He ironed his shirt as well. For some reason within my mind I believe this will be the last time he kisses me good bye, and says I love you.

The sadness envelopes
closing in
Feelings of being alone
running to hide
Disappointment and delusions
will it always be?

Turmoil...what is the basis

First we must determine that for there to be turmoil, there must be two or more opposing forces. Once determined these forces must each be placed in their respective corners. As if in a boxing match, before the fight each conflicting emotion is announced.

We then must look at all of the outside forces, those not directly involved in the fight, but may have an affect on the outcome, like the cheering crowds, or the staunch non believers. These can be our own mood swings, our bodies chemical balance, the weather or on how a certain area was approached.

Is it any wonder that we have turmoil in our life? Why we always feel like we are fighting an uphill battle. I must ponder this point more.

Keep true, never be ashamed of doing right; decide on what you think is right and stick to it.
- George Eliot -
