Home for the day
gone again in another
Home I missed
but why? there really is very little for me locked in this world of mine

it's been near a year I figure, maybe longer maybe less, it feels as though once again it was a lifetime ago, a dream that happened to someone else, someone other than I for in me there is no room for feelings, no room for hurt or pain, no room for love or lust, no room for healing that must come with trust. another word, another confusion.

Why walk my thoughts when you won't share yours, what do you feel, I want to scream that, I want to know, if you come here to see mine then why be selfish and not share yours? is this part of being a ghost, are your real were you real, I thought so believed, and what has it given

So many years ago but yet it seems like yesterday that I played grape ape with you. And the dreams we spun late at night when everyone else was gone. The pretend weddings and someday you would say you'd see me walk down the aisle, but yet you never did and for this I am sad. but maybe Grandma you can see all the way from heaven.

Live in such a way that you would not be ashamed to sell your parrot to the town gossip.

Thinking of you grandma and the day you left us.

Grandma, it's been so long now
I still miss you,
Maybe more now than then

I miss the reveilles
I miss the cold cream
I miss the grape witch

the laughter,
the singing
and the hugs

My Grandma

Little boys and puppy dog tails
they grow up so fast.

Yesterday crawling
Today running and sprawling
Tomorrow a going calling

Treasure the moments for they won't last long
and soon all the little boy smiles will be gone.

worn blue jeans, scraped knees.
trembling lips when they try not to cry
hands on hips acting tough.

Running and playing
fighting the world.

Little boys and puppy dog tails.

Do the hard jobs first. The easy jobs will take care of themselves.
