VISTAS: An awareness of a range of time, events, or subjects. A broad Mental View.
March 13

Take a moment from your day to learn a few good lessons...
Always try to help a friend in need.
Remember, on a bad day you are almost never alone!
Close your eyes and smile at least once a day!
Hold onto good friends, they are few and far between!
Laugh often.
Don't be overly concerned with your weight, it's just a number!
Indulge in the things you truly love.
Always try to see the glass half full.
Meet new people, even if they look different than you.
Remain Calm...
... even when it seems hopeless.
Take lots of naps...

Keep your head up
Enjoy expensive toys often.
Never be ashamed...
There is always someone who loves you more than you know.
It will get better
Give it your all
Be weird whenever you have the chance
Always be up for surprises.

Love someone with all of your heart.
Cherish every Sunday!
Love your friends, no matter who they are.

"If you spend your whole life waiting for the storm, you'll never enjoy the sunshine."
- Morris West -

You can turn your work into a great deal of fun merely by looking at the bright side and working to prolong those things that please you.

in my mind I see the leaves above my head the sun streaming though them, the damp moist feel of the river bed, and the smell of fall in the air mixed with scents that are hard to describe, fresh earth, running river water, rotting leaves, and a scent of someone, a scent long gone from my life, a scent I miss, the memory of the day in the Land of Moses, and others seem to be flooding my mind lately, maybe getting back into the normal routine this next week will allow me to go back into the robot I have become. But for now all I can feel is this awful empty void, this longing of what was and wondering how I could have made it different than it has ended.

life changes, that is what is called for when the current is wrong and unfulfilling, the truth first however must be admitted and then acted upon, with that said and with that knowledge then freedom may come.

for just a moment a glimpse is all I need to keep me feeling sure of how I feel, as time passes I question and doubt, I hold onto a fading dream, a lingering memory, a faint remembrance of how it was once.

He enjoys true leisure who has time to improve his soul's estate.
- Henry David Thoreau -

Today was one of those wasted days, where everything seemed to take longer than it should and sleep was at a minimum. I feel so tired and worn, rest is all I seek. I tend to fail at the most basic of tasks, and the disappointment in my self is at a maximum.

The snows melt once again,
an unthawing from more than appears
an understanding possibly
of what has past through the years

I sat wondering what I was doing, laughing to myself.
You know talking to myself in a silent way
Within my mind, debating the pros and cons
of this life versus another,

Was there any answers, I guess not
for I am always questioning
Maybe if I would stop long enough to answer these questions
then and only then would the solution come.

I wished I had a more definite plan,
a goal in mind
something to work for instead of just being, not doing
At times life can be so boring

If we were faultless we should not be so much annoyed by the defects of those with whom we associate.
- Francois Fenelon -
