"But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom."

"Class is an aura of confidence that is being sure without being cocky. Class has nothing to do with money. Class never runs scared. It is self-discipline and self-knowledge. It's the sure footedness that comes with having proved you can meet life.

I wished for many things, an easing, a sign, something anything I could find
I dreamed dreams that were only mine, of comfort and red wine
of music, warmth and a love divine.

in the haze of mental relaxation, or deterioration I find that thoughts become tangled and mixed, confused, aligned and then tangled again, that is where dreams and sleep bring an insight into the thoughts that one dares not think, of hopes one dare not hope, and of happiness that is obtainable when restrictions of experience do not hinder

What is Love? What is the difference between love and being in love? Very difficult questions to ask oneself and to arrive at a satisfactory answer. For each of us there is a different definition that only our hearts know for certain is in fact truth or a rationalization based on others beliefs.

I believe at times we place to much importance on the word love, instead of feelings it invokes in the spirit. For me I Love my Son, that is a given, but why? Because he is a part of me, maybe the very best part of me. (But Love is also blind) I love to see a bunny hopping across the yard, or a deer standing beside the road. I love beautiful flowers and all are beautiful. I love the smell of coffee and fresh baked bread.

But with each thing that I love I also know if not treated properly, appreciated with respect, that, that love could cause me pain. If I were to force my son to believe the way I do, he would go his own way. If I were to corner and hold that bunny or deer, I would be scratched, or bitten, kicked whatever. If I were to cut that flower it would die, or pierce the skin. If I were to bend to close to take in the aroma of the coffee or the bread I might burn me nose.

With this in mind, I love from a distance, a way to protect myself from the pain I may. Does this stop me from loving? NO. Does it stop me from enjoying the pleasures these things bring me? NO. But then again these are material things (with the exception of my son). Things that bring me joy, happiness and pleasure to the normal everyday life. Blessings as I prefer to call them.

Love hurts, it is a painful, constraining, suffocating thing that steals from our soul. but does that make us shy away from it? Does the fear of that pain prevent us from being who or what we really are. To be in love is to give your soul, to give all you have inside you, not material things but internal, just like ones health. It is not something that can just be given for the sake of giving. It is something that is taken almost from your spirit. When a person loves they do not love because they want to but because some hidden force drives them to it. Rather or not they accept it is up to them. but to deny it is as painful as it is to embrace it.

The embers of love is what keeps our emotional self warm, just like the sun warms our outer body, Love warms our inner being. To Love someone and to have them love you in return is the greatest feeling on earth. But it has to be given and received with equal acceptance. An individual giving or receiving has to also realize that along with love comes pain, sacrifices, and hate. but why?

The age old question is what is Love? To me Love is like air. it is something we know that exists, but rarely can we ever see it. We can feel it if we think abut it, but without opening our eyes, and our mind to it, we do not realize it exists. It is often something we take for granted, until we lose it. Try placing a plastic bag over your head, soon when you are fighting to breath you realize how important air is. If you deny love's existence then it is like placing a plastic bag around your soul, and when there is no longer any of it to breathe in to yourself, you fight like hell to get back to it.

So what is Love? What does being in Love mean? How does it feel? and can it last forever?

Well these are my thoughts to ponder for this day.

2000

Rising from the mists of the past
unable to see into the future,
I stumble, falter, and then go onward
Will tomorrow be better
shall happiness present itself to me
the sorrow lingering
until it no longer remains
What shall I find
upon my journey into the now.

I'm weary, I continue to go on although the point seems mote, I hold to my values, but I wonder if it is in vain, I struggle with the inner demons, that fight and cause strife with in my life. I hold on to my dreams, envisioning some paradise, where all are wise. I look for the judgments and I fear the rebuke. Only time holds the answers and the future will continue to be untold until it is the past and the heartache already done

1998

boy time sure does fly when your having fun anyway that is what I've been told. *laughing*

Life is good at the moment and for this I'm thankful. I think of all my net friends and of all the support I have received over the past few days. I don't think words can adequately convey how much that support has meant to me. A simple thank you seems inadequate, but is the best I can do for now.

Thank you my friends just for being you.
