it is another day, there have been minutes pass, seconds and even hours but in the daylight, nothing is different than in the moonlight. weird isn't it.

today I walked a path in my sleep that not even I am aware of, a path in the dark and the light and the discovery of inner self. A path into my desires, my needs and my pain, where only the sleep induced subconscious can allow these things to surface and faced with out judgments of reaction

the whisper within says this
the heart says that
the others don't know

if I were to die tomorrow, don't weep for me
rejoice in my joy of finally finding peace and heaven
where all the pain will finally leave me.

Where is love to be found
I have searched
looked around

Where to look
Around a corner
hidden inside a nook?

Where to find
At the store, next door
inside my mind?

Where is love to be found
Will it knock with silence
or a pounding sound?

I looked at my cousin, the wrinkles upon her face, and felt pity that the drugs and the alcohol had taken her beauty leaving an old looking woman in yet a young body.

Somehow you stepped into my mind
I could not shake you from my thoughts
Although you have remained a mystery
I still let my mind wander to thoughts of you
Maybe it's the mystery
or maybe it's just the thought
