"What the caterpillar calls the end of the world the master calls a butterfly."
– Richard Bach -

When I dream about what might of been and how it could've played out, I find that it is no different than it is. Ironic isn't it that even though we desire things God's plan is the perfect one and makes the only sense, even if we aren't quite sure we agree with it or like it. Just like asking for patience, the only way he can teach it is to make one wait. Dear God, I take back that request, I no longer want patience.

"In your anger do not sin: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold." - Ephessians 4:26 -

silent tears, that is what falls, for if sound is to be heard there must be someone there to hear it, and since there is not then silent they must be

my fingers hurt
my heart is tender
my feelings battered
torn and sore

It's Sunday
I sit home alone
In the silence
and wonder

It's near Noon
I think of things to do
In the silence
and ponder

My Head is in the clouds somewhere

Within a touch
or a word

I find a happiness
of the heart

Within a smile
or a grin

I find a sense
of coming home

Letting go
The future, is a mystery
no promises, only hope
no guarantees, only dreams
and loneliness

Sleep will not come
I'm so tired
I close my eyes and the nightmares return
I'm so tired
I see your face haunting me
I'm so tired
I want to flee from the memories
I'm so tired
I try to escape the remembrance
I'm so tired

Our span of life is brief, but is long enough for us to live well and honestly.
- Marcus Tullius Cicero -
