they say a heart never forgets, in the darkness of night it recalls all the heartache and happiness life has brought to it. It remembers all the cuts and kisses that has molded it. It reminisces about the hands that were held and the headaches it has caused, and with all those memories it becomes hardened to ever creating new memories for it to recall in the black of the starless nights.

It's Sunday, not much to do today, not much to say, no one to listen, no one to talk, it's kind of like this every day, it seems like just like work life is just the same, just putting my time in until it's quitting time. the only difference is at least with work I can have some pride, some feeling so laughter, life it seems may never ever hold that for me ever again.

well I should of done that, and I should've done this, and I should of if only I could of then I would of

I have so many thoughts racing through my mind, that I wonder if I will ever be able to untangle the web that has formed, and make the right choices that will lead me to happiness or loneliness, whichever is my fate in this lifetime.

why can't one forget responsibility, be reckless and careless once life's lessons have become a part of ones life, where was and when was the joy that was felt most, in youth where one did not think of the consequences before acting upon the impulses, and we survived it then, why not now as the years have come to pass?

Words, how they can change and yet mean the same, Time how it can fly by and yet set still, music how it can sway and remind, lost in deep thoughts, contemplating the meaning, wondering the thought, the feeling or the expression within, the meaning behind, or not.
Insightful dreams of wanton wishing, or a misconception of perception. Something to ponder for this day.

1998

I wish to rest to find slumber and peace
to dream dreams of solitude
and completeness
to soar like the eagle
to swim like the whale
to hide like a mole
I wish to smile
to dream dreams of happiness
to laugh like a child
to giggle like a school girl
to grin like the old man
I wish to be free
to dream dreams of independence
to run wild like the deer
to sit alone like the owl
to hide like the raccoon
I wish to dream my dreams
