"Do not fear mistakes, there are none."
– Miles Davis -

"Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary."
– Steve Jobs -

Dishes done, laundry done, floors swept, dusting done, day gone.

I talk to this space as though someone is listening, I know they are not so I ponder the thought who am I talking to, and who am I trying to convince, and what am I talking about and what am I trying to convince myself or others of. What a bunch of double speak when there is nothing else to say, and it matters not for there is no one to hear my voice or see my words, or care about either as well.

You have to walk carefully in the beginning of love; the running across fields into your lover's arms can only come later when you're sure they won't laugh if you trip.
- Jonathan Carroll, "Outside the Dog Museum" -

inside I am empty, this does not mean that I do not feel, this does not mean I do not remember and remember often what love, life and happiness was, this does not mean that I do not think, that I don not long, yearn and desire more than I have, all it means that I feel so empty with no contentment, or push or desire to move beyond, to take the next step, to risk falling, to chance something unknown

Never try to tell everything you know. It may take too short a time.
- Norman Ford -

I want to turn back, I want to unsay the things I said, I want to come to you deep in the night and hear your voice, not see your tears. I want to be strong, I want to do what is best for you, I want to do what is best for me. I want to be happy and not sad, I want you in my life, but I guess some of us never do get what we want.

lullaby in the sunset
soft and gentle
floating on the evening breeze
a burbling creek provides the background music
the creak of the rocking chair the rhythm
and the softness of a mothers love the symphony

Soon the leaves will be falling to the ground marking another passing year
It seems as though yesterday they were just beginning to bud from the trees
and in a blinking of an eye
it's time for them to die

The Green grass of summer will be gone
replaced by crystal snow and frozen ground
refreshing and removing the old
the way of life I have been told

Genius may have its limitations, but stupidity is not thus handicapped.
- Elbert Hubbard -
