"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams."
- Eleanor Roosevelt -

"Just don't give up on trying to do what you really want to do. Where there is love and inspiration, I don't think you can go wrong."
- Ella Fitzgerald -

There are a lot of things on my mind, a lot of things I'd like to say, but yet my thoughts must stay in my mind, never spoken, never written, just felt, just there, just here inside of me, silent in the silence of my life. On that note, I'll move on to the highlight of the day for me. The Colts won their opening game, which was good, but I was worried they wouldn't. Just like me to always believe that anything I want will never be. Sometimes I guess I can be fooled.

It's been one year in the house, and it still really doesn't feel lived in, maybe it has but it isn't really a home, I think for a home a person has to be more than one, a home needs a family and since I have none, I guess maybe it will never feel like a home, just a stack of boxes that make up the rooms that keep me out of the weather, and a place for me to sit and rot away.

it is funny looking back a year ago I bought the trailer, who would know that in 5 days I sign the mortgage for a true house, a house I hope to make into a home for me and my lonesome, a place to live out the rest of the years of my life until my death, in a place I never thought would be where I would end, but yet I believe I will be content there, if not happy, for happiness is something that always eludes my grasp.

the papers are signed
the money transferred

I own a house..and empty shell of where I am to live

recalling memories

If you obey all of the rules, you miss all of the fun.
- Katherine Hepburn -

The squeaking wheel doesn't always get the grease. Sometimes it gets replaced.
- Vic Gold -

I watch as the morning mist rises heaven bound
the darkness becomes a flame of red as the sun peeks from it's hiding
the grayness of the morning enhanced by the quiet that surrounds
and I think of you

They were everywhere
Black balls of fur, running in the grass
chasing each others tails
biting and barking
Then from out of the barn came two more
Black and white, oh what a site.
I watched them play tag
and fight and growl.

Life is a struggle, but not a warfare.
- John Burroughs -
