An understanding friend is better than a therapist; and cheaper, too!

"What we hope ever to do with ease we may learn first to do with diligence."
- Samuel Johnson -

I've done nothing today, spent most of the day at whuddleworld exploring and shopping and reading, i really need to decide which Vista I'm going to convert next and get it started. I lost part of my temp filling on my tooth so now I have to call the Dentist on Monday and likely have to go spend another couple hours in his chair, gads I've never had a tooth that has been so hard to fix before, I just hope that when and if I ever get the crown on it that it is the last time I have to have that tooth messed with.

"Action is the antidote to despair."

the insanity of moving.
boxes and more boxes
memories forgotten found
items kept, tossed
new places to hide
new places to reside
new places inside
New places

2003

Sometimes I think I should stop writing my thoughts, I wonder why they have sustained me for so many years, and also wonder why anyone would come to read them, to see the changes in my life, to understand my moods, to know who I am, or to haunt what is the reason for them anymore?

2002

why does one come here to read my thoughts when not a word is spoken
why does one watch my words as though they revolve around the moon
why does one sneak in and out of my mind by yet cannot speak
why does one continue to haunt my dreams and my mind every day
why does one just say good bye and leave me alone if that is all there is
why does one come here looking for something that won't be found

Be wiser than other people, if you can, but do not tell them so.
- Lord Chesterfield -

a heart broken never mends
a tear that has fallen carries the sorrow
a silence in the darkness the mind bends
a death of life no one shall borrow

1999

The silken ropes bound
holding the faith
the trust
all must believe
a sort of excitement
but yet fear
of the unknown
and the unfounded
the restraint holds
making one face
not surrendering
accepting with grace
suppressing the limits
never known
speaking with a look upon thy face
a searing stinging pain
nay
but pleasure of no one to blame.

1998

Fly away
throw your dreams to the wind
allow it to scatter and carry
destiny prevails
dreams floating
lost and found
carried to others
wondering where they are bound

Spread them about
share as many as possible
plant the seed of hope
don't allow them to wither and fade
fight through the haze
That is how dreams are made

1997

History will be kind to me for I intend to write it.
- Sir Winston Churchill -
