"Love is an act of endless forgiveness, a tender look which becomes a habit."
– Peter Ustinov -

"When patterns are broken, new worlds emerge."
- Tuli Kupferberg -

Sometimes I wished I just had someone to talk to, about things with the parental units, about things with the offspring, about things with the job, about life in general, just an ear once in awhile. I find myself more and more lapsing into the world of silence. When all you have is your inner thoughts and your inner voice talking back to yourself, you realize your life is meaningless and not much worth living, yet I find I go on, going through the motions of the living, pretending that I have a place somewhere in this world, and hoping as well that a change will come along that will make this silent struggle worth it.

"Good and evil do not befall men without reason. Heaven sends them happiness or misery according to their conduct."
- Confucius -

I haven't been feeling the greatest today but yet I managed to maintain, I swept the living room, did dishes and worked a bit on stripping the woodwork on the landing, I figure another two weeks and I will have it ready to paint and paper, I just hope by then that we can come up with a color scheme that both of us agree on, of course my thinking is if the upstairs is mine I should be able to give it any kind of design I want. Of course the room with it's unique design will be a challenge in itself. It's been a pretty good day.

an extra day off
rest, recuperation

I think some changes are in order maybe a new front page, one of things that live in my dreams, but yet faded by the darkness of my days without anyone in my life to share, to care or to be.

take the picture in your mind and place it in your hand
hold on tight and fight with all your might
for in some foreign space of land
the flight to fight is well within sight

He who angers you conquers you.
- Elizabeth Kenny -

If I treasured you as the earth does the sunshine
and the mountains the wind
would you love me as the moon does the night
and the stars that shine so bright?

following a lifetimes tradition
the memories abound of the 36 years before
watching the mouse circle the table
wanting number 54

teddy bears and a young child's tears
the county fair has always been dandy

meeting old friends
and finding out where they have been
everyone comes home for the fair

Walking the court house square
little kids everywhere
balloons burst and money is lost

Animals fill the barns for just this one week a year
horses show their beauty and their owners pride
Blue ribbons and tears fall as a years worth of work is finished

To err is human - and to blame it on a computer is even more so.
- Robert Orben -
