"Life is what we make it. Always has been, always will be."

do you ever wonder where time has gone
who you have touched
who remembers
and who has forgotten

I wished I had the way of words, knowing what to say and how to say it when, but it seems that is something that is hard for me to do. speaking what my heart feels, what my soul wishes and hopes is the hardest thing to make vocal for others. I hope they just know that is my way. I guess.

I wished days like this would be more
I wished days like this would never end

when winter winds blow
and life seems so low
there is only one place to turn
one place to go

Oh stop that awful pounding
the screaming pain
within my head
piercing my brain
wishing I were dead
not up to the strain

Ever have a headache so severe you could not think? Where the pain pounds like a million feet, coming from all directions, making you ill? Ever have a headache where there is no escape? That is the headache I have today.

Leaves of dying brown litter the ground
the air is filled with the cold breath of winter
breathing upon the lands
birds fly in flocks looking for warmer places to sleep
children bundled in coats wait for the snow to fall
Parents looking tired and worn count their pennies
praying that there are enough to make this Christmas something to remember

The poetry of earth is never dead.
- John Keats -
