She was brave So small, with a bit of fear etched on her face
Her mother's hand she held for courage
as the needle pierced first one ear
and then the second

No watery eyes
big smiles and silence
I'm glad I got to be there.

It sure is Monday
the minutes flew buy as did my feet
running from spot to spot
moving stuff here and there
a Good Day

I wonder why I bother with typing the words, why I spend the time to keep my thoughts alive. Sometimes I forget why I began, and what it hath brought.

A inner healing at times, a way to express my sorrow, my joys, my being

On days when I am tired I question why bother, but then I recall the day it started, and the words that have followed. Writing has to be done daily, rather bad, good or impartial, for it is the only way for it to grow. So with this thought in mind I continue on my journey, searching for what I do not know.

Sitting here in my dark room, alone I think of the yesterdays the things that could have been and the things that should have been. The sorrow I have caused and the sadness I have felt. The things I should have said and the ones I shouldn't have. Going back in my memory facing the regrets, crossing bridges into tomorrow a little wiser, a little more cautious. Reminding myself that yesterday is gone, never to be regained. There is only now and what I can do to make it the best of any day of my life

Above all things, never be afraid. The enemy who forces you to retreat is himself afraid of you at that very moment.
- Andre Maurois -
